Wanting to decorate your pool room in a great way, well you don’t have to go all out, but some people want to make this room a fun room that everyone will be comfortable in.  In fact HGTV did an article on making a billiard room.

Perhaps a carpet that is patterned which will make the area a bit more colorful and will also be longer lasting.  The walls were decorated like a pool hall with photos that were black and white in simple black frames.  Gray flannel was used to cover the walls, this acted as a barrier to sound.

Or maybe you want to make a old west theme, and get a nice dark gray carpet for the floor and do a western themed wall with a brighter color that will brighten the room nicely and perhaps some old west type of decorations.

Basically you can pick any theme you want to make your pool room, if you like country heck decorate it that way.  The room is yours and you want to feel comfortable in it so you should decorate it in a theme that will help you to be relaxed.

Think of a few different ways that you like or styles and picture them in your pool room.  And don’t forget to let your spouse in on the decision, talk about it and decide which style you feel will fit your both best.  What style you feel will not get old quickly and will continually make you feel at ease and comfortable.

You will have many ways of going about decorating your pool room.  Or maybe you don’t even want to decorate it in a special way, just leaving it as any other room in your house.  The whole point is that the way you decorate this room is up to you!
