Pool Cues
When you start to play pool you will normally use the bar sticks that are at the place you are playing in. But as you get better and want to improve your game more you will need to start considering purchasing your own pool cue.
It’s not an easy purchase, and not something you should just go to a store and pick out the cheapest stick there. Because if you pay $20 on a pool cue, it’s not going to help to improve your game at all, in fact you might as well not buy one. But if you’re serious about getting better at pool and wanting a nice pool cue you should expect to pay at the least $100. This will get you a very nice pool cue that will indeed help out your game.
So if you’re not ready to spend that much on a pool cue wait and don’t go any further. But if you say hey no problem I can handle that you will have to make the next decision. That’s whether or not you want the stick to look fancy or if you want it to be plain. The more decorations you get on the stick the price is of course going to go up, and remember no matter how many decorations you have on the pool cue it won’t make your game better. But in the same sense some of the biggest billiards champs feel more confident with a fancy pool cue.
You’ll also need to decide if you want to buy a brand name cue or do you want to get a customized job. Of course just saying customized you know that the cost will be more than a brand name pool cue. But if it’s what you want you should get the pool cue.
How about the grip what do you want? You have several choices like linen, nylon, leather, and some other exotic choices. The best to go with would probably be the linen, but feel them and see which one you think is best for you; after all it is your stick.
You will need to make sure the pool cue is the right weight for you too, and that the balance is proper. Once you get all these choices figured out you will have your perfect pool cue.
